An efficient night from the three-point line led the Frogs to an 81-45 win against Kansas City.
TCU got out to a 17-0 lead in the first five minutes of the game, a lead that grew to 23 when the first half ended 51-28.
The Frogs would improve their rebounding and three-point shooting in Wednesday games, two areas that Coach Jamie Dixon attributes to the Michigan loss.
The Horned Frogs would grab 50 rebounds against Kansas City and shoot 44% (14-32) from three.
In Friday’s loss against Michigan, TCU shot 29% from three (7-24) and had 23 rebounds to Michigan’s 44.
Coach Dixon liked that TCU had 21 assists and made 14 three pointers, but still believes offensive strides will need to be made.
Jayden Pierre led the Frogs in scoring with 17 points, shooting 5-8 from three and the field. Liutauras Lelevicius would add 16 points in the win, shooting 5-7 from three and 4-5 from the field.
Jamie Dixon gave credit to David Punch, who had nine rebounds and seven assists in the victory.
Next up on the schedule is the reigning national champion Florida Gators on Thanksgiving Day at 2 p.m. on FS1.
