TCU will look to find their footing and get back in the win column as they face off against the ranked Houston Cougars.
TCU is coming off a loss against BYU where the Frogs couldn’t get going on either side of the ball. Wide receiver Eric McAlister still had over 100 receiving yards on four receptions. McAlister is sixth in the nation for receiving yards while playing one less game than all those in front of him.
The Frogs are 6-4 on the year and 3-4 in Big-12 play.
TCU now will travel to Houston for the first time since 2023. Houston is 8-2 on the year and 5-2 in Big-12 play. Houston is currently fourth in the Big-12 and are fighting for a spot in the Big-12 championship game. Houston’s losses have come to top ranked Texas Tech and a home upset against West Virginia.

The Cougars are led by quarterback Connor Weigman who has thrown for over 2,000 yards and 18 touchdowns as well as he’s rushed for over 400 yards and four touchdowns. Weigman transferred to Houston from Texas A&M this past offseason.
Houston is coming off their bye week but last faced off against UCF where they won 30-27.
The last time TCU and Houston played was this past year where TCU lost 30-19. TCU wide receiver Joseph Manjack IV played for Houston in that game.
This is the 28th time the two teams will face off, and TCU is 13-14 all time against Houston. The first game played was in 1976.
The Frogs will travel to Houston, Texas, to face off against the Cougars on Saturday, Nov. 22, with kickoff at 3:00 p.m. The game will be streamed on FOX.
