A body discovered Tuesday in southern Oklahoma was identified as that of missing retired professor Laura Lee Crane, police said Wednesday afternoon. Two Fort Worth residents linked to her disappearance have been charged with capital murder, police said.

Harassment confession results in warning

A suspect was issued a criminal trespassing warning after a written confession in the Foley’s phone call incident, TCU Police Detective Kelly Ham said Tuesday. 

The harassing phone calls were first reported Jan. 23 . Ham said the police traced more than 100 phone calls made by the suspect and were able to locate his home in Graham.

Increased budget to provide for future

In addition to voting to increase tuition 11.9 percent and joining the Mountain West Conference, the Board of Trustees Friday approved a $248 million budget for the 2004-05 academic year. 

Tuition was increased to help the university pay for the $18 million budget increase, Vice Chancellor for Student Affairs Don Mills said.
