Frog Freeze Fest, a welcome back party, will be sponsored by Programming Council at 5 p.m. today in the Student Center.
The lawn in front of the Student Center will be covered with imported snow. There will be a snowman-building contest at Frog Fountain with prizes from Best Buy, Starbucks and other local retailers.
Other activities inside the Student Center will include a digital-imaging booth where students can have their picture superimposed on various backgrounds, a M-4 Flight Simulator, Wax Hands and tattoos.
Sebastian Moleski, vice president of PC, said the purpose of the Frog Freeze Fest is to get students excited about this upcoming semester.
The welcome back party is a great opportunity for the new spring freshmen and transfer students to meet new people and make new friends, Moleski said.
