The powwow originally referred to a healing ceremony conducted by tribal spiritual leaders. Now the powwow is a large group gathering and is one of the only ways that indigenous people can pass on historically endangered traditions.

TCU womens volleyball falls to Zhejiang

The TCU women’s volleyball team lost 3-0 in a grueling match against the Chinese national champion team, Zhejiang, on Friday night.

According to GoFrogs.com, the Horned Frogs were led by sophomore Ashley Smith, who totaled eight kills. Alexia Heist ended the game with 21 assists and eight digs, and Mattie Burleson contributed six kills as she led the team with six total blocks.

TCU’s next three matches will be at home and will continue Big 12 play on Wednesday against West Virginia at 6:30 p.m.
