TCU volleyball fell 3-0 to the Kansas State Wildcats in its final conference road match on Saturday night.
Sophomore Ashley Smith lead the Frogs in kills for the 17th time with eight on the night. Smith was followed by sophomore Sarita Mikals who had seven kills and junior Blaire Pickens who had six.
The Frogs, which are 16-14 in overall play and 6-9 in Big 12 action, finished the first set out at 25-27.
The team came out strong in the second set. Freshman Mia Swanegan had two straight kills and a block to led the frogs 5-3 over the Wildcats. The frogs managed to tie the set up on eight different occasions.
Junior Sutton Sunstrum also helped the frogs with 12 digs while Alexia Heist had 19 assists and eight digs.
TCU is set to take on No. 3 Texas on Nov. 26 at 6:30 p.m. to a sold out home crowd, which will wrap up their conference play for this season.
