Voters will leave the polls and a new president will be chosen when the election cycle ends this Tuesday.
With a record 15 million registered voters, Texas is expecting a strong turnout as voters select the nation’s 45th president.
In addition to Donald Trump representing the Republican Party and Hillary Clinton representing the Democratic Party, Libertarian Gary Johnson and the Green Party’s Jill Stein are also on the ballot.
Early voting in Texas ended on Friday with 424,823 casted ballots. Three thousand eight hundred eighty-nine of those ballots were cast on TCU’s campus at Brown-Lupton University Union.
Besides voting for a presidential candidate, citizens in Tarrant County can also vote for district representatives, railroad commissioner, supreme court justices, and state senators among other positions.
Absentee ballots must be mailed in by Tuesday if they are to be counted in this election.
Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Voters must bring a photo ID. Valid photo identification for Texas voters includes: a driver’s license, passport, personal ID card or license to carry a handgun.
