The TCU club rugby team is looking to improve this year after failing to reach their expectations last season. The team is already starting off 2018 on the right foot, placing second in the Summer 7’s tournament, which was hosted at TCU. “We realize as a team that we have a lot of room to grow but are excited for the journey and the new season,” said captain and president Logan Legg. The team came away with wins against Southern Methodist University and the University of Texas at Dallas but fell short against the University of North Texas. They will look to continue their success when they play Baylor, Texas, Angelo State University and a couple of local men’s teams in the area later this year. Led by Legg and new head coach Spencer Ozmun, the Horned Frogs will play four games in the fall, three on the road and one at home against Angelo State.
