TCU women’s basketball key players Hailey Van Lith, Madison Conner and Sedona Prince each played a crucial role in the 2024-25 season for the Horned Frogs. With the contributions brought by the trio, TCU made their way to the Elite Eight for the first time in program history.
Two out of the three were invited to the 2025 WNBA draft: Van Lith selected in the first round as the 11th pick by the Chicago Sky and Conner selected in the third round by Seattle Storm as the 29th overall pick.
Despite a standout season averaging 17.2 points. 9.4 rebounds and 2.4 assists a game with the frogs, Prince was not drafted or among the 16 prospects invited to attend.
Van Lith played for Louisville, LSU and TCU. She became the first player in both men’s and women’s NCAA history to reach the Elite Eight five times, the only player to do so within three different school programs. Additionally, Van Lith earned an Olympic bronze medal in the women’s 3×3 basketball tournament at the 2024 Paris Games.
The guard averaged 15.2 points, 4.1 rebounds, and 3.4 assists in her recent season with the Horned Frogs.
Former LSU teammate Angel Reese will reunite with Van Lith on the court for the first time since Van Lith transfered to TCU.

Conner spent three seasons with the Arizona Wildcats where she made a name for herself as the nation’s top three-point shooter.
In her first year as a Horned Frog, Conner set the single-season record for most three-pointers made. She did it again in last season.
Conner made a total of 128 shots from beyond the arc. She averaged 10.6 points, 2.7 rebounds and 2.0 points a game in her final season with the Frogs.

Prince was not drafted after closing out her seventh year of college basketball and will now wait to see if she receives an invitation from a WNBA team for a tryout.
During Prince’s time at TCU, she was accused of physical and sexual abuse by ex-girlfriends. A petition that now has over 200,00 signatures was created to remove Prince from the team, but no action was ever taken.
Van Lith and Conner, now rookies in the WNBA, will begin their seasons on May 17 and will face each other for the first time in July.
