I was wearing a suit and tie and drinking Merlot at the Jersey Shore when "Don't Stop Believing" played before the screen abruptly cut to black. What should have been the final moments of Tony Soprano's life unfolding in the June finale of "The Sopranos" left people wondering what had just happened. What I didn't know was that the finale also signaled the beginning of the end for the sports world in the summer of 2007.

After getting the recent six-game winning streak snapped by Baylor Tuesday night, the TCU baseball team will travel to Salt Lake City on Friday where it will play the University of Utah Utes in their last three road games of the season. The Horned Frogs (34-11, 15-2) gave up three runs to Baylor in the second inning- the only runs of the game giving TCU its second home loss this season.

Head coach Jim Schlossnagle attributed the Horned Frogs offensive struggles to the performance of Baylor Bears starter Wade Mackey, who threw his first-ever complete game.

Some midday showers must have put a damper on the Horned Frogs bats as the 34-11 baseball team was held to just two hits, Tuesday night.

Credit indeed goes to the Baylor Bears starter Wade Mackey who threw a complete game for the first time in his college career. Mackey's nine inning shutout was keyed by his command of three pitches that he kept away from the hot TCU bats which were averaging more than seven runs a game during the last week of play.

"We didn't have any good swings all night," head coach Jim Schlossnagle said. "He was good, really good."

Your mind goes blank, and you break out in a cold sweat as you grapple for the answer while your potential employers look on. It is not uncommon for students to be stumped by a question in a job interview, but it's important to try to be prepared for those difficult and unexpected questions, said Chuck Dunning, associate director of University Career Services.

"If you're caught completely off guard, it's OK to ask for a few moments to think about your answer," Dunning said.
