Stuffed with soft rice, steaming black beans, melted cheese and spicy, fresh pico de gallo, good burritos are nearly impossible not to love.TCU students seem to agree. On any given night of the week, local burrito places such as Chipotle Mexican Grill and Freebirds World Burrito are packed with hungry college students trying to exact their days' worth of calories from a food that comes wrapped in foil.

TCU track and field members said TCU's legacy is still intact despite problems surrounding the program.Former head track and field coach Monte Stratton and his assistant coaches allegedly violated NCAA rules before Stratton was fired last September. The NCAA is conducting an investigation of TCU, but a decision has not been announced. Last year, the program operated under self-imposed sanctions that banned the runners from post-season competition - both individual and team.

Sophomore sprinter Jay Cooper said he came to TCU because of the track tradition.

When one of the owners of Ridglea Theater was diagnosed with double pneumonia and other complications about eight weeks ago, a number of bands wanted to help pay the bills.So they did the natural thing. They scheduled a concert.

The metal concert is Sept. 23, and doors open at 6 p.m.

Band members from around the area think of Ridglea Theater as home, and husband-and-wife owners Wesley Hathaway and Richard Van Zandt as family, the owners said.

Jeff Ogle of the band Lockjaw told Hathaway, "It's like going to grandma's house."

In the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina, TCU students worry about family and friends in Galveston, Houston and the surrounding areas as Hurricane Rita heads toward Texas.Janet Hess, a parent of a TCU student, has been living in Houston after being relocated from New Orleans by Hurricane Katrina. Hess teaches at a school for evacuated children.

"Houston has been unbelievably generous," Hess said.

Comparing "Just Like Heaven" to 1990's "Ghost" because of an ethereal main character would give everyone the wrong impression of this film.Reese Witherspoon plays a love-starved, corporally-challenged doctor who begins haunting her old apartment, and its new resident, Mark Ruffalo, after a car accident.

Unlike the Patrick Swayze character in "Ghost," Witherspoon's character faces a much more complex dilemma - she is a spirit with amnesia.

Forming the third piece of Coheed and Cambria's concept album tetralogy, "Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV Volume 1: From Fear Through the Eyes of Madness" is over-the-top in ways the band's previous release, 2003's "In Keeping Secrets of Silent Earth: 3," doesn't come close to matching.Beginning with a new symphonic rendition of the theme music common to all previous releases, the first two tracks are light and acoustic-based, yet still convey an ominous atmosphere that holds the listener until the more energetic music kicks in with track three.
