The Horned Frogs will look to end their four-game losing streak against conference opponent Wyoming(8-8, 1-1 MWC) at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum.

The Cowboys enter the game with confidence as they secured a buzzer-beater win last week against No. 25 UNLV, a team that has skirted in and out of the top-25 rankings early this season.

First floor offices in Sadler Hall were relocated to the second floor to make room for crews working to modernize the building and to make it more energy efficient, a university official said.

Associate provost Leo Munson said construction on the first floor was scheduled to be finished Feb. 18. Construction on the second floor would begin Feb. 28 and would be completed in July, he said.

Chancellor Victor Boschini and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Chris Del Conte announced Friday night that two years were added to TCU head football coach Gary Patterson's original deal, extending his contract through 2018.

As a private institution, TCU is not obligated to release salary figures.

"Gary Patterson is simply the best football coach in America," Del Conte said in a statement. "He has done a remarkable job in energizing a campus and community around his program and TCU as a whole."

While students were away on winter break, the women's basketball team remained in action on the hardwood. The Lady Frogs seem to have made a significant turnaround over the six-game stretch, going 5-1 and getting off to an undefeated start in Mountain West Conference play.

The Lady Frogs' late December run included wins over Sam Houston State, Texas Southern, Oklahoma and conference foes San Diego State and UNLV.

The team's success has come despite struggling with sloppy play early in games.

With lows for Tuesday and Wednesday predicted to be well below freezing, students are bracing for more chilly weather this week.

LAS VEGAS, Nev.8212;TCU stretched its losing streak to four games after a 83-49 road loss to No. 25 UNLV on Saturday at the Rebels' Thomas & Mack Center.

The loss dropped TCU's season record to 9-8 overall and 0-2 in Mountain West Conference play. UNLV improved to 13-3 overall and 1-1 in the MWC.

UNLV forced TCU into a season-high 23 turnovers. The miscues resulted in a 32-6 Rebel advantage in points off turnovers.

In the end, Andy Dalton did what he does best 8212; win.

The TCU defense was as stout as ever, and the special teams units were solid too, but it was college football's winningest active quarterback who led the Frogs to a 21-19 win over Wisconsin in the Rose Bowl on New Year's Day.

Senior quarterback Dalton finished 15 for 23 passing for 219 yards and a touchdown. His statistics weren't gaudy, they were just solid, much like every other aspect of Dalton's decorated four-year career. It was how he got to those numbers that gave TCU the edge.
