Younger siblings of students should look forward to a new event the Programming Council planned this year for Family Weekend, a Programming Council representative said.

Family Weekend Student Director and junior strategic communication major McKenzie Zieser said the Programming Council's Family Weekend Committee scheduled a Future Frog Camp event designed for younger siblings of students Saturday during Family Weekend. Children ages 4 to 10 are invited to attend the event.

When students text or browse the Internet all through class, they are probably distracting the other students in the class and they are definitely disrespecting the professor. But even this is not the extent of the problem with our generation's dependence on digital communication.

Frogs will make a statement with win over SMU

The 2009 edition of the Battle for the Iron Skillet should be different than in the past couple of years. SMU is playing its best football under head coach June Jones and his spread offense. The TCU defensive secondary is still the weakest link in the Frogs' game plan, so don't be surprised when the Ponies put points up on the board. But that won't have Mustang faithful singing the "Pony Battle Cry" in celebration all the way back east.

Tim Bludau, Emily Howard and Jeremy Shields held stable, professional jobs at successful companies. They are now students in the university's MBA program.

None of the three students are victims of the economy. None of them were laid off. They just wanted to further their educations, they said.
