The No. 35-ranked Horned Frogs improved to 15-2 on the year and 4-0 in Big 12 play. The Wildcats, ranked 48th, slipped to 7-7 and 1-3.

K-State took an early lead with a 1-0 lead with wins at Nos. 1 and 2 doubles. After the Wildcats won at No. 2, Gabi Barbosa and Monika Sirilova were 8-6 winners over Carmen Borau Ramos and Ana Gomez on the third doubles court.
