The university should be open to reviewing the plus/minus grading system, which needs some type of uniformity. Although it was implemented three years ago, not all professors use the system, and even within departments there are varying grading scales, which results in discrepancies about what might constitute an A in one class versus another. Because of this, Student Government Association representatives have plans to meet with the Faculty Senate to discuss uniformity and grade equality concerning the plus/minus system.

Women's Basketball

After going undefeated in the Daniel-Meyer Coliseum for 22 consecutive games and clenching the Mountain West Conference title, the women's basketball team failed to finish their season on a strong note, dropping their final regular season game to Brigham Young University 65-70. Heading into the conference tournament, the Lady Frogs are 22-7 overall on the season.

Men's Basketball

After winning the first two games in the Houston College Classic during the weekend, the Horned Frogs lost to Rice University, dropping their season record to 8-2.

The loss ended the Frogs' four-game winning streak.

Against Rice, the No. 7 Horned Frog baseball team had runners in every inning, producing 11.

The Frogs had a 4-3 lead heading into the bottom of the ninth, but the Owls delivered the game winning hit to end the game 5-4.

"Tex" and Pauline Rankin Lectureship in Nursing and called for nurses to take the initiative to lead new nursing developments, engage in their own research and embrace technology.

As if military spouses didn't have enough to worry about already, now they will have to worry about how they will pay for college.

Though the government only began giving grant money to military spouses last year, many would have already begun to count on that money to get them a promotion or a new job.

In their next two matches, the men's club lacrosse team wants to power past the University of Nebraska and the University of North Texas and hold onto its No. 2 ranking in the Lone Star Alliance's North Division.

Coming off of a loss to Texas State 15-7, TCU will meet both Nebraska and UNT in competition during the weekend.

Junior Shea Pearson said the team is looking forward to playing Nebraska.

"A lot of the guys are excited to play a team out of state that's from a different conference," Pearson said.

The upcoming weekend is a busy one for the men's and women's tennis teams. The men's team will host the No. 24 Tulsa Golden Hurricane today, and the women will face the Texas A&M Aggies on Saturday and the Fighting Illini of the University of Illinois on Sunday.

The men's team boasts a 4-2 record in match play this season. Because of the recent stretch of bad weather, the Horned Frogs haven't played a match in almost two weeks.
