After launching their "Boys Are Silly" website two weeks before Valentine's Day, a TCU student and his brother have attracted over 20,000 page views generated from roughly 4,000 users writing about men's follies.

Senior Pedro Wunderlich said he and his brother Mario, who lives in Guatemala, have created two websites, "Boys Are Silly" and "The Pointless Like Button," as fun social experiments. The two work together and keep in touch through communicative websites such as Skype and Basecamp, Wunderlich said.

Just by its mission statement alone, "To educate individuals to think and act as ethical leaders and responsible citizens in the global community," it is obvious TCU puts a high value on leadership and community awareness.

But to get to the point where college students can put those words into action, they must first be admitted to college. This usually involves stressing about scholarships, financial aid and, above all, standardized test scores.

While many students struggle to find jobs, seniors in the university's ROTC program know exactly what they'll be doing after graduation.

Ballet dancers do not usually have a 90-year-old pool beneath their feet.

Students at TCU can enjoy Union Grounds' selection of Starbucks coffee and treats, but what many appreciate most is that it is open into the late hours of the night when caffeine is often needed most. Cheryl Tucker has been working at the establishment for the past three years. She takes the night shift starting at around 6 p.m. until 2:15 or 3:15 a.m.

"Usually from about 8 to 10 and then I get another crowd about 12 to 1."

Coming off its first College World Series appearance, the horned frog baseball team ranks number one in the preseason college baseball poll.

This season the Frogs will return seven of nine starters this season. Sophomore Matt Purke, junior Kyle Winkler and senior Steven Maxwell return to the plate this season, each have received preseason accolades.

Baseball head coach Jim Schlossnagle said he was proud of the way the Frogs opened up the season, even with a loss in game three of the series.

The third time's the charm, or at least, it may be for Texas Senate Bill 16.

The Texas Senate finally approved the bill Thursday. The bill was passed by the senate in 2007 and 2009 but died in the House. The bill would require a doctor to perform an ultrasound on women before they have an abortion, and the doctor would have to describe the images and explain the progress of the fetus' organs and limbs. The ultrasound would not be required if the reason for the abortion was for incest, rape or fetal abnormalities.

The tennis version of the "Battle for the Iron Skillet" will be put on the backburner.

The No. 52 TCU women's tennis match against No. 29 SMU was postponed due to rain.

The match originally was scheduled to begin 6 p.m. Wednesday at Turpin Tennis Stadium in Dallas. The match will be rescheduled for a later time, although a date and time has not been determined.

Postponed matches for the women's tennis team aren't a new occurrence this season.
