After its 2-1 series with the Wright State Raiders over the weekend, the Horned Frogs (6-4) are aiming to beat the Dallas Baptist Patriots (7-3) in a home game Tuesday.TCU head coach Jim Schlossnagle said that in order to win, the team needs to make some improvements.

"This weekend was a struggle for us," Schlossnagle said. "We were very fortunate to win two games because we didn't really play that well."

Just off an upset win over No. 13 LSU, the TCU men's tennis team is looking to keep its undefeated record when it takes on No. 61 South Alabama at 6 p.m. today. Head coach Joey Riv‚ said that in spite of the No. 32 Frogs' big win Sunday, the team has to work hard to earn a victory over the Jaguars.

"We always have a tough schedule," Riv‚ said. "Every match on there we can lose."

Senior Jacopo Tezza also downplayed the Frogs' LSU victory.

"We have to take one match at a time," Tezza said. "We have to focus on what we are doing, not what we have done."

Silence, story and song are tools for promoting social change, said a guest speaker addressing the TCU Justice and Advocacy Network. Anthony Nicotera, a public interest lawyer, social activist and community organizer, presented to a group of about 20 students Sunday evening, most of whom were involved in social justice organizations.

The TCU Justice and Advocacy Network, a group working to create social change on the campus and in the community, organized the workshop called "Thoughts and Tools for Creating Change."

The Horned Frog baseball team rallied from behind to defeat the Wright State Raiders 4-2 in game three Sunday afternoon at Lupton Stadium after trailing for three innings.Head coach Jim Schlossnagle said the team was anxious going into the game coming off the back-to-back win and loss against the Raiders on Saturday. He said that although the Frogs were happy with the win in the second game, they were disappointed with the loss in the first and looking for a turnaround.

"The fact that we finally got a good day of weather was the best motivator," Schlossnagle said.

Despite shooting a season-high 49.1 percent from the field, TCU could not stop the Brigham Young Cougars Saturday night.The Frogs (5-23, 1-13) dropped another contest 81-72 to BYU (18-7, 10-4). It is the ninth straight loss for TCU.

Senior Nile Murry led the Frogs with 25 points, just one shy of his career high.

Coach Neil Dougherty said what hurt the Frogs the most was too many second-shot opportunities in the second half for BYU.

The Frogs only trailed 38-42 at halftime.

It's been more than a month since the women's golf team last teed off at a major tournament - and at least one member has gotten tired of waiting around."Really, we're just excited to get started," said head coach Angie Ravaioli-Larkin. "We've had five good weeks of workouts and practices and ... lots of good mental work. It'll be nice to finally go and play. It's hard for us to be home for five weeks."

With more than 5,000 nonprofit agencies in Tarrant County, there is bound to be an overlap in providing services, as reported in the Jan. 20 Skiff article on homelessness in Fort Worth.The Women's Shelter in Arlington and the Women's Haven of Tarrant County, the two largest domestic violence shelters in Tarrant County, have realized the benefits of combining two minds to achieve a shared goal. The two shelters have merged to form SafeHaven Tarrant County.

Dancers scurried while musicians played Thursday in their final preparations for tonight's AIDS awareness benefit concert.Chi Tau Epsilon, the dance honor society, will host the TCU Arts Collaboration AIDS Benefit Concert, which will feature students from the TCU dance department, theatre department, the TCU Jazz Band and artwork of photography students.

Heather Creek, a senior ballet and political science major, put the benefit together this year and said everyone has been planning for tonight since the spring of last year.

While many of the cities affected by Hurricane Katrina are slowly rebuilding, the Northern regions of India and Pakistan are still suffering from their own natural disaster.Students for Asian Indian Cultural Awareness are hosting Experience India: "A Celebration of the Indian Subcontinent," which is a fundraiser for the Pakistan Earthquake Relief Fund and the Mother Teresa Charity. The event will take place from 6 to 9 p.m. on Saturday in the Student Center Ballroom.
