When Brad Christianson arrived at the university in the fall of 2006, he never thought he would produce a television show about the University Recreation Center.

Christianson, a senior film-TV-digital media major and employee of the Recreation Center's marketing office, presented the idea this past summer to start a show called "Rec 360," which highlights activities at the Recreation Center.

The show was named "Rec 360" because it gave a "circular look at Campus Recreation," Jay Iorizzo, associate director of Campus Recreation facilities, wrote in an e-mail.

If there's one good thing about how the Mountain West Conference schedule is setup, it's the chance for redemption in a two-match series.

In front of a sold-out, record-setting crowd of 1875, TCU volleyball, which lost to Colorado State on Sept. 26, got its revenge Thursday night in a thrilling 3-0 (25-23, 25-22, 25-10) upset over the No. 25 Rams.

TCU's win also snapped Colorado State's 12-match win streak that dated back to Sept. 9.

With a 6-0 record so far this season, the Horned Frog football team heads to Provo, Utah to square off against nationally-ranked Brigham Young University. They face off against the Cougars Saturday at 6:30 p.m.

The upcoming game has received attention on the national level because of both teams' high poll standings. The Cougars are currently ranked No. 16 in the AP poll with a 6-1 record.

Both teams head into the weekend undefeated in the Mountain West Conference.

When psychologists Karyn Purvis and David Cross were approached by adoptive parents who had concerns about their childrens' transitions into their new families, they decided that the consequences of ignoring their pleas were too great to remain inactive. Frogs must put constant pressure on Hall

The Frogs have faced teams with prolific offenses for the past two years with great star power to back up highly-ranked team stats. This season the Frogs have already stopped Clemson running back C.J. Spiller and have come out victorious against an Air Force team that was ranked second in the nation in rush offense at the time.

But TCU hasn't faced an offense like this.

A surge in interest in the Rape Aggression Defense workshop has prompted TCU Police to add a third class this fall, an officer said.

Campus police usually offers one class every semester, but the number of students who want to take the class has increased in light of the recent reports of sexual assault, Crime Prevention Officer Pam Christian said. The other two classes scheduled are already full, she said.
