The Horned Frogs employed a revolving door of pitching Tuesday night - and Dallas Baptist walked right through it. No. 21 TCU (6-5) lost 11-8 in a game that saw seven Horned Frog pitchers and a staff total of 11 walks; the struggles from the mound were compounded by the team's five errors, several of which came off of dropped fly balls in the outfield.

Head coach Jim Schlossnagle said although the players' effort is there, the results are yet to be seen.

Lent season begins today, and University Ministries is hosting on-campus activities and devotionals for students celebrating this religious period.An Ash Wednesday service will be held at noon in the Robert Carr Chapel, where participants can worship to Christian music as well as receive the imposition of the ashes on the forehead, said Ann Smith, a University Ministries intern for worship, spiritual life and pastoral care.

Although the appeal process that followed last semester's dismissal of cheerleading coach Jeff Tucker came to a close, both sides of the issue are still refusing to discuss the specifics surrounding the initial removal.Tucker was dismissed from his coaching capacity in October, but the reasons behind the dismissal were not made available because of an appeal process Tucker invoked to contest the action.

After its 2-1 series with the Wright State Raiders over the weekend, the Horned Frogs (6-4) are aiming to beat the Dallas Baptist Patriots (7-3) in a home game Tuesday.TCU head coach Jim Schlossnagle said that in order to win, the team needs to make some improvements.

"This weekend was a struggle for us," Schlossnagle said. "We were very fortunate to win two games because we didn't really play that well."

Just off an upset win over No. 13 LSU, the TCU men's tennis team is looking to keep its undefeated record when it takes on No. 61 South Alabama at 6 p.m. today. Head coach Joey Riv‚ said that in spite of the No. 32 Frogs' big win Sunday, the team has to work hard to earn a victory over the Jaguars.

"We always have a tough schedule," Riv‚ said. "Every match on there we can lose."

Senior Jacopo Tezza also downplayed the Frogs' LSU victory.
